The terms for using OpenMeet, and where to find our policies.

Terms of use

Who can use OpenMeet

OpenMeet is for organizations running interviews. Interviewers sign in with an email their organization has allowed, and are responsible for the meetings they create and who they admit.

Candidates

By joining an interview through the OpenMeet app, a candidate agrees that, while the app's call window is open, it checks their computer as described in the Privacy Policy and shows what it finds to the interviewer.

Acceptable use

Don't use OpenMeet to monitor anyone without their knowledge, and don't try to defeat, bypass or reverse engineer its integrity checks.

What OpenMeet can and can't tell you

OpenMeet reports what the operating system reports about the candidate's computer. It can't promise to catch every way of getting outside help, and an alert is information for the interviewer's judgment, not a verdict on the candidate.

Changes

When these terms or our policies change, we update this page and the date at the top.
